Constable Julie

We have been learning where to walk up and down our school driveway safely. We need to walk inside the yellow line. We also have been learning about how to walk safely along the footpath. We need to be on the house side of the path. We need to be careful of sneaky driveways and make sure we stop, look up the driveway and check there are no cars coming. We were so good at walking safely.

Soccer Fun

We had the Lower Hutt Soccer Club coaches come and take Rm 8 for soccer skills. We learnt how to dribble the ball with our feet. We played some fun games too.

Blackberry picking

The Junior School are learning about where our food comes from for topic. We went blackberry picking. The berries were very squishy in our fingers. We could only pick the ones that were black. Some were green and red which meant they weren't ripe yet. We had to be careful not to prick ourselves on the bushes. We even got to eat the berries. They were yum!
